Driver's Ed Game Walkthrough
Driver's Ed Game is a surprisingly addictive little parking game considering it's relatively simple premise. Basically, you're taking your driver's ed exam and in order to pass, you'll need to complete four different common driving maneuvers. To complete the maneuvers, you'll have to really pay attention to what's being asked of you, watch out for other cars on the road and pedestrians that may be crossing in front of you and obey all of the standard rules of the road. Some of the challenges are harder to complete others but none of them are really all that difficult as long as you have basic parking game skills. Experienced players are going to have an easier time with this one than newcomers to the parking game genre but any player, regardless of skill or experience level should be able to get through this one with a perfect score.
You have two options when selecting your game play mode in Driver's Ed Game. Option number one is to start out with a practice run through. This gives you the chance to try out the tasks you'll be required to complete on the test and will help you perfect your technique. I would recommend newcomers start with this option. The experience you can build up here will definitely help you when it comes time to take the exam. Experienced parking game players can probably skip over the practice lessons and head straight into the exam. It is vitally important though that experienced players who choose to go this way make sure they read the instructions before they begin taking on a task. It's extremely easy to miss a little piece of information if you only skim over what you're supposed to do. The descriptions aren't long or complicated so they only take a moment or read. Take that moment so you know for sure what's being asked of you.
In Driver's Ed Game you start off with parallel parking. This isn't an uncommon challenge in the world of online parking games and it is really no more difficult in this one than it is in most of the other games in the genre. You need to pay attention to the angle of your car when you pull into the space and you need to watch your speed. If you go too fast, it's going to be hard to keep your car under control and avoid hitting the sidewalk or one of the cars on either side of the space. With that said, the real difficulty lies with the next challenges you'll encounter. Make sure it's your turn to drive before you begin to head into the intersection. If your car is already moving, hit the brake and take a look at the other streets. You don't want to let your car roll through a red light or roll into the intersection when you don't have the right-of-way. If the instructions specify that you need to wait, there's a good chance there's something you need to wait for. Make sure you know what that is before you start driving.
The final challenge in Driver's Ed Game is to back out of a parking spot. This is another challenge you'll face a lot in online parking games so anyone with experience should've have too much trouble with this one. The key to completing this task without crashing or without getting a warning is to pay attention to the other cars in the parking lot and to pay attention to the angle of your car when you turn. You don't want to hit other cars and you don't want to wind up driving backwards or driving into the wrong lane. Control over your car is vital in this challenge. Make sure you keep your finger ready to hit the brake in case you start to veer off in the wrong direction or in case you need to stop suddenly. You need to always be aware of what's going on around you throughout this entire game and that's especially true in this task.
The option of choosing from four different instructors in Driver's Ed Game is a nice addition. In truth, different instructors don't really change the way you'll perform in the game but they're a fun little touch that helps set this game apart from other, similar parking games online. The premise in this one isn't terribly unique when it comes right down to it but the instructors add a little flair to the game and increase the entertainment value. Try out the game with the different instructors and above all else, enjoy the game for what it is. It's tragically short but in a way, the length of the game is a great benefit. It doesn't go on so long that it becomes boring or stale. It leaves you wanting more and that's always the mark of a great game. This is also a great parking game for folks looking to take their driver's test in real life as it helps familiarize you with the rules of the road. While real cars aren't controlled with a keyboard (yet), the rules of the road that you have to follow in this game can easily be applied to real life driving situations. Overall, this is an excellent parking game that will educate you and keep you entertained at the same time.
